H&E Film students recognised by awards organisation
The WJEC Awards are a national competition for media and film students across the country. The awards are hotly contested and this year over 750 submissions were made by schools.
Herts and Essex is proud to say that as well as Media student Joe Baggs' phenomenal achievement in being shortlisted for Best Music Video, further H&E Film students were also recognised.
With one nomination and two special mentions, Herts and Essex has become 2015's best represented school at the awards, a considerable achievement for our first year of entries.
Special mentions were given to five Herts and Essex Film students. Thailah Joseph & Kaiman Atwell were recognised for their short film "The Verge" and Kiera Felgate, Cait Dearlove & Alex Reed for their film extract entitled "Terminus". Their films will be showcased on a special show reel on the Moving Image Awards website in the new year. If you can't wait that long we have provided you with the amazing films below, enjoy!
