New: Poetry Competition

Do you love to write in rhyme or use language to release your feelings?
Want to put your poetry out there?
Ever wanted to have your poetry taught in schools or universities?
 
Here is your chance to create your own piece of poetry and perhaps win the chance to make it onto the Network’s Creative Section, the only place to be seen for prose and poetry!
 
Prizes include:
The winner will get a £10 voucher plus 100 House Points
Runners up will get 50 house points 
All other shortlisted entries will be rewarded with 25 house points 

The rules are fairly straight forward, so let your imagination go wild with whatever fantastic ideas it can conjure up. The rules are as follows:


  1. It must be all your own work
  2. All genres will be accepted and judged in their own genre before being submitted into the final decision phase.
  3. Those who enter must email their entries to: thenetworkhe@gmail.com
     with their full name, year group and form/house name. Subject line must clearly say ‘Network Writing Contest’
  4. All entries MUST be typed and entered via email

The deadline for this contest is: Thursday April 27th 2017. So, get writing young poets and good luck! We look forward to seeing what you come up with!
